A\u0130\u00c7\u00dc T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyelerinden Dr. \u00d6\u011fr. \u00dcyesi Selma Sezen\u2019in y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcc\u00fcs\u00fc oldu\u011fu \u201cYeni Antimikrobiyal Peptid \u00dcretici Bakterilerin Horseshoe Adas\u0131 (Antarktika) Karasal ve Sucul Habitatlar\u0131nda K\u00fclt\u00fcre Ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131 ve K\u00fclt\u00fcrden Ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z Y\u00f6ntemlerle Ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131\u201d projesi de T\u00dcB\u0130TAK KUTUP-1001 Projesi kapsam\u0131nda destek almay\u0131 ba\u015faran projeler aras\u0131nda yer ald\u0131. A\u0130\u00c7\u00dc ad\u0131na ba\u015fvurulan T\u00dcB\u0130TAK KUTUP-1001 Projesi\u2019nin desteklenecek olmas\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 mutlu ve gururlu oldu\u011funu belirten Dr. \u00d6\u011fr. \u00dcyesi Selma Sezen, \u201c123G030 proje numaras\u0131 ile ba\u015fvurdu\u011fumuz KUTUP-1001 Projesi kapsam\u0131nda d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en \u00f6nemli so\u011fuk habitatlar\u0131ndan birisi olan Antartika\u2019ya yap\u0131lacak TAE-9 bilimsel seferi kapsam\u0131nda Horseshoe Adas\u0131\u2019ndaki T\u00fcrk Bilim \u00dcss\u00fc \u00e7evresinden toplanacak \u00f6rneklerden yeni antimikrobiyal peptid \u00fcretici bakterilerin k\u00fclt\u00fcre ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131 y\u00f6ntemlerle elde edilerek antimikrobiyal ila\u00e7 ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131na y\u00f6nelik \u00f6nemli bir kaynak sunmas\u0131 hedeflenmektedir. Ayr\u0131ca k\u00fclt\u00fcrden ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z y\u00f6ntemlerle yap\u0131lacak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n b\u00f6lgede yer alan mikrobiyal \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fin belirlenmesine katk\u0131 sa\u011flayaca\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.\n
A\u0130\u00c7\u00dc Rekt\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. Abdulhalik Karabulut, \u00fcniversitenin T\u00dcB\u0130TAK taraf\u0131ndan kabul edilen ilk KUTUP 1001 Projesi\u2019ni haz\u0131rlayan Dr. \u00d6\u011fr. \u00dcyesi Selma Sezen ve proje ekibini tebrik ederek, Kutup ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131nda yer alman\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck bir \u00f6neme sahip oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi. Farkl\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma alanlar\u0131nda d\u0131\u015f kaynakl\u0131 projeleri her f\u0131rsatta te\u015fvik ettiklerini kaydeden Prof. Dr. Karabulut, hedeflerinin 2024 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u00f6zellikle d\u0131\u015f kaynakl\u0131 proje b\u00fct\u00e7elerini daha da art\u0131rmak oldu\u011funu ifade etti.\n
